Aeris Pulse Weather App Reviews

Meh...

Nothing special. Its just like every other weather app out there. Save your dollar. Plus, I have not found it to be very accurate. It is supposed to be 100% snowing right now...and yet, it is perfectly clear outside.

The Weather App Ive Been Looking For

Beautiful design, easy to use, and truly worth it.

Liking it so far!

Disclaimer is that it’s day 1 of using it, but I love it. It’s what I expected when I purchased. So others know, the map purchases count for FUTURE predictions, not current predictions. Maps, layers, etc., all work from the past to the present - just not future predictions. Really like the navigation, map layout, warnings and widgets. This app is very easy on the eyes and easy to use - thanks devs!

Superior to Dark Sky

Like a lot of you, I have tried 1.3 million weather apps over the years. My current go-to for forecast (non-radar) information is Dark Sky. Say what you will about the accuracy of Forecast.io, the predictions are reasonably accurate. The app, however, is garbage. Enter AerisPulse. Superior in every way visually, with clear, layered radar data and an exceptionally useful forecast summary, this little app immediately replaced Dark Sky on my home screen. Push notifications are timely, and so far the predictions have been at least as accurate as DS. Only thing Id love (which DS has) is an optional scheduled push notification with a weather summary for my morning routine. Otherwise, this is shaping up to be the perfect weather app. 5 stars.

Not bad

So far I like it but its missing Apple Watch support which I hope they add soon.

With a lot more than .99

Clean. Intuitive. Powerful. Accurate. I love the design and the quick access to the info I need.

Not worth it

Too many bucks if you switch from F to C not every field is changed.

Ok but

Well developed, but no added value. While there are much more valuable weather apps out there (check Sunshine for example), I find my self wondering why I even bother paying to use other ones...

Best weather app Ive used

I love this app! Great user interface design, awesome feature set. Nice and clean!

Great

Very cool new take on the weather app.

Greater than dark sky

Love the app. I prefer it to dark sky. Hoping for Apple Watch integration soon. I like the ability to add locations as well. Graphics are superb. Good job guys.

Not bad

I could see me using this as my primary weather app, but there are a few things that need to be done. The main thing is an Apple Watch app.

Best weather app

Highly recommend this app. Last weekend with friends, we heard there would be snow that day. Three of us pulled out our phones and each opened a different weather app. Each had different start times for the snow. One was 10 am, one was 11 am and Aeris had 2 pm. Snow started about 2. I love the alerts, too. And face it, if anyone knows weather, its Paul Douglas.

Lack Of 3D Touch/Slow Widget

Ive downloaded a number of weather apps and havent really been satisfied with any of them. This is the first weather app Ive downloaded that Ive truly enjoyed using. It seems to offer everything I need in a beautifully designed app. My only complaints are a lack of 3D Touch and the widget takes a few seconds to update. If they could address those features I would give this 5 stars.

Lots of potential

Im really impressed by the quality of Aeris and the simplicity and depth that is in this app. A good combination of elements that appeals to casual users and those like me that want a little more. The main areas that need improvement are the radar animation and maybe a few alert tones that sound more like a real alert. Also it could use a better faster widget as well.

Nice app

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.2.1 One thing Im not crazy about is the Feels Like temp seems to be wrong fairly often. Otherwise its great! One big reason I love this app so much is because of how quickly I get a reply from a suggestion or bug email I send. Some reasons for ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: + The radar is very current. + The widget contains the current temp, along with an indicator for weather threats, as well as a description of what to expect in the short term. + I can quickly see details such as feels like temp, dew point, winds (with gusts), and humidity without having to leave the main page. + There are many map layers to choose. + I find the gestures to be intuitive. I havent tried the map upgrade but I am thinking about it. Ill update this review if I take a peek.

Like so far but limit to locations list?

I like this app for the ease and clarity of the information that it provides. What does not work for me is that where I live, on Maui, whole swathes of the island are not on their list of places. The only way to bring them up is to actually visit them and the geolocation finds them (though gives some of them the wrong name - lumps a huge area into one place name). From my experience this is not true of other weather apps, and I dont know how if there are other parts of the country/ world where the app is similarly lacking in identifying places. This is a big loss for me with the app, as it means having to go to other apps/websites to get the information that Im looking for.

Beautiful design

Fluid and well designed. The map data is especially good.

RLNfirst

Great app! It does what they say I really believe if youre looking for a special weather app try this one.I know all weather apps are not perfect but this one really is trying to be!

Weather Junky

Love this app. Very nice layout. Layers are easy to navigate. Colors are awesome -easy to pick up temperature range at a glance. The "pulse" shows direction of approaching weather alerts. You can set it up to give as much information as you want from hurricanes to blizzards. The best weather app I have used. Kudos to the developers. Well worth the few pennies and no annoying advertising.
